Two arrested in drive-by murder of Plainview man

Nassau County Police have arrested two Suffolk County men in the drive-by shooting of a Plainview man on January 14th. Recent testing at a water supply well at the Seamans Neck station in Levittown, showed the presence of the contaminant 1,4-dioxane. Bethpage students compete in ‘Brain Challenge’

Students at Kramer Lane Elementary School in the Bethpage School District tested their health and wellness knowledge during the “Brain Challenge” assembly on Jan. 16. The students gathered in the school’s auditorium to participate in the gameshow-like activity. The students were excited to compete in special challenges including spelling bees, dance offs and hula hooping competitions.
