Students got crafty in the STEM Lab at Kramer Lane Elementary School in Bethpage on Jan. 25. Using Lego pieces, students teamed up to create spinning tops.
After they assembled their spinning tops, students tested their designs to see which side of the top would spin longer. The teams also investigated previous toy inventions such as a fidget spinner, a toy car and a gyro yoyo wheel to rate them based on fun and safety.
