Lorina Michele Amore of Old Bethpage has been named to the Deans’ List at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for the fall semester of the 2021-22 academic year.
Amore, a senior majoring in communication studies, was named to the Dean’s List for the College of Arts and Sciences.

Christina Hydo, class of 2023, from Bethpage, NY, has been named to the President’s List for the fall 2021 semester.
The President’s List is an academic distinction reserved for Bryant’s highest achievers who earn a GPA of 4.0 or better for at least 12 semester hours of work.
Kelli Heffer of Bethpage,was one of more than 130 Lebanon Valley College student-athletes to be named to the Middle Atlantic Conference’s (MAC) Fall Academic Honor Roll.
Heffer, a gradute of Plainedge High School, is a member of the Lebanon Valley College volleyball team, and is pursuing a bachelor of science in exercise science at The Valley.
The academic honor roll is comprised of student-athletes who compete in a varsity-level sport and registered a term/semester GPA of 3.20 (on a 4.00 scale) or higher.

To qualify for the Dean’s List, full-time students must earn a GPA of at least 3.5 and complete 12 or more credit hours without any incomplete grades. Part-time students must achieve a minimum semester GPA of 3.6 or higher and complete six or more credits without any incomplete grades.
To qualify for the Presidential Honor List, students must achieve a minimum semester GPA of 3.7 and complete at least 12 credit hours without any incomplete grades.

Lakeview College of Nursing recently held a White Coat Ceremony to recognize students who achieved the transition into clinical practice within their bachelor’s degree nursing program.
Cindy Ho of Hicksville, was one of the students who was honored by receiving a white coat. Ho attends Lakeview’s Danville Campus.

To qualify for the Dean’s List, a student must carry a 3.2 or better grade point average out of a possible 4.0 and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 letter-graded hours (four courses).

SUNY New Paltz got the defensive stops it needed to hold off top-seeded Cortland, and come away with an extremely close 66-63 victory.

Edward Pena of Hicksville received a Doctor of Education degree in Learning & Organizational Change from Baylor University during commencement ceremonies in December 21st.
Aiden Huggard Sr. of Hicksville was named to the Dean’s List for the Fall 2021 semester at Baylor University, School of Engineering & Computer Science.
The Dean’s Academic Honor List recognizes Baylor undergraduates for their outstanding academic work during each semester. Students honored on the Dean’s List earned a minimum semester grade-point average of 3.70 with no grade lower than a “C” while enrolled in at least 12 graded semester hours.
Emily Anderson of Levittown, a student at Northern Vermont University, was named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2021 semester. Students who achieve between a 3.50 and 3.99 semester average are placed on the Dean’s List.
Nicole Zacchia of Bethpage; Fatima Ali of Hicksville; and Brandon Moy of Levitown, have achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA during the Fall 2021 semester, earning them spots on the Provost’s List at Hofstra University.

SUNY Delhi announces its dean’s list for the fall 2021 semester, a recognition of academic achievement for students who enrolled in six or more credits and earned a 3.5 or higher grade-point average for the semester.

Purchase College announced that more than 1,250 students were named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester. Students who have earned this academic honor have maintained a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher and taken a minimum of 12 credits. For BA and BS programs, a semester GPA of 3.50 is required. For BFA and MusB programs, a semester GPA of 3.75 is required.
